Details About 240Z Fresh Air Intake

Pictured above: are the two types of Fresh Air Intakes used on the Datsun 240Z. As you can see the Early Style were quite different than the Late Style. The Early Style were used on all 1969 Production Z Cars while the Late Style were put into the production lines in late Jan. 1970, as far as we can tell at this point.

If you have a "Known Original" Z Car - with a build date of 01, 02 or 03/70 - please take a look at the fresh air intakes and let me know which style you have and what the production month of your car is (be sure to include the VIN also).
